Account & data
Delete your Vivon account.
You can delete your account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what happens to your data, and how to reach us if you can't sign in.
1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)
The fastest way is directly from the app:
- Open Vivon on your phone (or app.vivon.ink on the web)
- Tap the Profile tab
- Open Settings
- Scroll down to Danger zone → tap Delete account
- Confirm the deletion prompt
Your account is immediately scheduled for deletion and signed out.
2. Delete by email (if you can't sign in)
If you lost access to your account, email contact@vivon.ink from the email address you used to register and include:
- Your account email or display name
- The sign-in method you used (Google or Apple)
- Approximate date you created the account (optional but helps us find it)
We verify the request and delete the account within 7 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
3. Grace period and cancelling
After you request a deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:
- Your profile is hidden from everyone else immediately
- Nobody can call, message or view you
- If you sign back in within 30 days, the deletion is cancelled and your account is fully restored
If you do not sign back in during the grace period, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. This step cannot be undone.
4. What gets deleted
When the deletion becomes permanent (after 30 days, or immediately at our end if requested via support), the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile: display name, photos, bio, age, location, preferences
- Chats: all messages you sent or received
- Calls: call history and metadata (video and voice calls are never recorded)
- Matches, likes, blocks and reports you filed
- Device tokens and push-notification subscriptions
- Sign-in identifiers (Google / Apple linkage)
- Remaining gem balance (not refundable — see below)
The account cannot be recovered after this point. If you sign up again with the same email later, it is treated as a completely new account.
5. What may be retained (and why)
A minimal amount of information may be kept after deletion, only for the reasons and for the period listed:
- Payment / transaction records — kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws. We keep the invoice, amount and transaction identifier; personal identifiers on our side are anonymised.
- Moderation records — if the account was banned or reported for safety reasons, a minimal record (user id, reason, date) is kept to prevent re-registration and abuse.
- Aggregated / anonymised analytics — statistics that cannot be traced back to you personally.
6. Refunds and remaining gems
Deleting your account does not automatically refund your remaining gems. If you have unused gems purchased within the last 7 business days, you may request a refund before deleting the account — see our Payment & Refund policy.
